70-640 Pass!

Just passed my 70-640 (actually 73-640 same test diff. vouchers)

CBT nuggest are your friend, and the labs in the self paced study book reinforce what you watched. I probably put 40 hours into studying for this.

The key to them is to really pay attention to everything. Sometimes the most important part of the nuggest is nothing more than a mention while he's working on something. I don't think I'd have a firm grasp without them though!

Awesome I have my test scheduled on the 17th. I also watched the nuggets and am now half ways done with the self paced book. Hopefully I pass.

I'll have to take another look at them. I was debating their usefulness as I found Professor Messer's video's for the 70-680 to be much better\quicker than the CBT ones.

I wouldn't spend so much time with the videos unless you have 0 experience with AD, I think labs are more important IMO. The test is difficult, but it's not rocket science by any means. I studied for about 4 weeks and passed.

I don't know, I haven't tried Train Signal. However, I started using CBT Nuggets years ago, I believe with Windows 2000. For the 2008 track, CBT Nuggets does an exceptional job at explaining the information behind the task, as well as how to do each task. I watch the videos, then study the material, and usually follow up with the videos again. I have found that after watching the videos in an area I have no knowledge or experience in, that when I start studying, I already have a good grasp of the info.

    Hope this helps.
