Thin clients at our remote site unsble to resolve DNS names
Hi guys, heres the problem i'm having. We have 2 main sites with everything hosted at site 1 and site 2 connecting via EVPL line. Site 1 is 1.0/24 and site 2 is 2.0/24. The gateway router in site 2 is handing out DHCP and points to the DNS server at site 1 where DC's are. I set up a DC and Term Server farm at site 2, but none of the thin clients can connect to the farm name via rdp because they dont recognize the name. Site 1 is fine. Will this resolve itself (no pun) once i take the entries out of the router for dhcp/dns and have them use their own DC? Also, the thin clients will automatically pick up on the new dhcp server wont they?
EDIT: I changed the scope settings to allow nonsecured registration but that changed nothing.
