I will tell you a little about my adventure in the IT world. I started back in 1995 doing help desk for Internet provider. Well 17 years later was just offered the job of a lifetime and great money and relocation. I worked hard on certifications and education and expierence I have to say it does pay off in the long run. It does take time. I can not express this enough learn as much as possible from yourself, online, and from others as it will help. It is amazing but things i learned back when getting into IT always seem to come back around. Work hard and it will pay off. I start my new position on Dec. 27th.
CCNA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDST, MCITP Enterprise Administrator, Working towards Networking BS. CCNP is Next.

It's great to hear a success story! I hope to be in your position at some time in my life.

I'm 21 and working on my IT degree. I've been managing a a full-time job and full-time studies for the past year. I just recently left my last job in search for a position within the field in order to get some professional experience under my belt.

Congratulations, and best of luck with the job!
