Look like it's a cert for people who certify Federal and DoD information systems. As of 12/07/2012, there were 1,344 CAP-certified individuals, with only 13 of them being from outside of the USA. It unfortunate that the acronym of this cert's name makes it very difficult to differentiate in searches, such as those performed on job boards and resumes. -

Agree with you a 100%. I actually only stumbled upon in while searching for security related positions. I meet all the requirements and thought perhaps it might be helpful for defensive contracting if I went that route?WIP:

The CAP cert is 8570.01, so it's probably respected by some need of the DoD.
