Whats Best data recovery software!
I am just looking for opinons on which data recovery software is fast and efficient. i run a local tech store and came across this issue sometimes and the few i have don't work to good. thanks

FINALLY found this. It's a thread I started a while back when I was having some trouble with a drive. It contains a bit of information and the names of a few tools.

EverythingPCowner Member Posts: 57 ■■□□□□□□□□I dont use anything at all...linux is very good at reading drives.
If you use a livecd and mount the drive...you can copy anything off of it you need to recover.
If you dont like the livecd approach...get an ide-usb converter and use the same method with your linux desktop and your newly made usb hddAlabama or Bust!
