UCCX: First node of its own cluster? or is it part of my CUCM cluster?

Someone answered this question for Unity on one of my previous posts. I guess Unity's can be clustered together but not clustered with CUCM's. Is UCCX also its own cluster?

Yea, UCCX is it's own cluster but I'm trying to jog my memory on how it connected to CUCM. I believed it used CTI ports and JTAPI or some combination of both.
