CEH v7 or v8

I recently passed my Security+ and I'm planning on getting ready for the CEH exam. I e-mailed the EC-Council and they told me that v8 isn't publicly available. They are saying that the exam won't be available until end of Q1 or beginning of Q2. Any advice on where to go from here? Should I conquer another exam in the meantime? My plan as of right now is...

CISSP

I already have my A+, Network+, and Security+ and I plan on diving deeper into InfoSec. The long term plan is to eventually be a pentester or security auditor (both as a consultant).
