Somnipotent Member Posts: 384There's nothing stopping you from taking any exam, with the exception, as noted above, of a successful pass, where you have to wait 180 days. Heck, you could even take and pass all the CCNP R&S exams but you won't get the CCNP certification without the CCNA (even an expired one at that). Question is, why would you want to take ICND1? It's a fairly basic fundamental test of networking. Unless, of course, you're like me, and chase logos and certificates.
