Is it possible to take CCENT even though you have an unexpired CCNA Cert?
(Then take CCNA to recert?)

As long as its after 180 days of passing the exam.

There's nothing stopping you from taking any exam, with the exception, as noted above, of a successful pass, where you have to wait 180 days. Heck, you could even take and pass all the CCNP R&S exams but you won't get the CCNP certification without the CCNA (even an expired one at that). Question is, why would you want to take ICND1? It's a fairly basic fundamental test of networking. Unless, of course, you're like me, and chase logos and certificates. It's an addiction, and obsession almost.

@somnipotent: My company is offering the course free with the testing voucher. I wanted to take it to help me refresh my memory of CCNA stuff, since eventually I need to retake the CCNA to recert.
