Guys im just confused which layer does SSH resides?
Application layer or Transport layer?

RFC 4253 Transport Layer Protocol
RFC 4251 Application layer protocol

Which one is true? Thanks

    Yesh! SSH is a Application Layer and ssh when you want change the regular telnet (port 25) connection to one with encryption (ssh port 22). It's Enhancing the Security :)
