Another thread about top Certs for 2013.
Seems like anything cloud related to visualization is the thing to do.

Does any members hold all of these? "Now if you really want to make money, have a VDCX, CCIE, CISSP and be certified in FlexPod and vBlock. But that might be a conversation for another time"! -
Essendon Member Posts: 4,546 ■■■■■■■■■■Yeah one of those IT articles that are actually quite spot-on! I might just add Citrix to the mix and you are gold.
VCDX, CISSP and CCIE together - I think David Davis is pretty much there, I know he's VCDX and CCIE. Fantastic achievement but you need to have things fall nicely into place for you to get these quals. Drive, determination, opportunity all need to come together.
The 'X' in VCDX makes the cert so much sexier! -
N2IT Inactive Imported Users Posts: 7,483 ■■■■■■■■■■That's such a magical combination. Wow just one of those babies would be nice.
Ess I hope you get it.
What does it take to land such a presitgous certification? I mean from what I read that is a peer to the CCIE bare minimun. -
FloOz Member Posts: 1,614 ■■■■□□□□□□This line made me laugh. "If you want to be a network guy and don’t have at least your CCNA, you are going to have a bad time." Someone should make a meme using that quote haha

Essendon Member Posts: 4,546 ■■■■■■■■■■You've got to have atleast a dozen vSphere deployments under your belt before you even think of attempting it. You prepare a vSphere deployment design that you need to defend in front of a panel of current VCDX's. This link here is a definite eye opener > The VCDX Application Process « CloudXC . One of our members, meadIT is the only one I know who may be close to attempting the cert. Dunno if scott28t is interested in it because he's a VCI and maybe more into training than enterprise deployments.

Yeah this was my first thought. And David Davis is not a VCDX. As far as I know there are no CCIE's that hold VCDX yet. However with CCIE DC, that will probably change very quickly. -

umarbhatti Member Posts: 67 ■■□□□□□□□□Reading about the VCDX sounds very similar to Ciscos CCAR in the sense that its peer reviewed
Does anyone know how many are there in the world? Some googling says 3 while another says 10 -
