Hi,
straight forward...since my IOS image is an "advanced enterprise" edition why I do not have access to several tabs in SDM probing me that the edition of my IOS does not support them. Tabs like: Firewall and ACL/IPS/QoS and from Monitor Firewall Status/ IPS and 802.1x .

spd3432 Member Posts: 224Because not all IOS's are created equal. You'd need to go to Cisco feature navigator to see what is available in your IOS. Cisco Feature Navigator - Cisco Systems----CCNP goal----

spd3432 Member Posts: 224Things like IPS might require additional signature files to be installed -- think I ran into this and ended up running a 1721 since it had a base set of definitions in the IOS. I've not run SDM inside GNS3, only used it with real hardware.----CCNP goal----
