Resume Redone. Need review please

Just redid my resume. Formatted it a little better and got it to one page. Also added my school course work to it. What you all think?

Most of my posting is about formatting specifically - don't discount it. These are my observations on first view (in no order of importance), so if I'm noticing it, others will too..

I would put Relative Coursework at the very bottom below Awards/Honors as it should be considered least important overall (easier to discuss corsework in-depth at an interview). Put your education section below experience, but above Awards/Honors. You could consider ditching the summary - a quick read of what your technical skills and experience should paint the same picture. As you gain more experience, you'll want the room to expand the resume for new skills, not a summary.

I would say keeping the tech skills and cert(s) at the top are helpful at this stage, then dive into experience, as your latest two positions are IT-related (and as you move on in your career, you can drop the oldest one as it is not IT-related). Expand the tech skills area also as you pick up additional skills - or as you move along. Your skills area should be increasing in size - showing you've worked with more than just a few areas is helpful. Your skills area will definately help sell you on first view - not where you worked, but what you can bring to the table.

thanks for the input! I had previously listed my prgramming skill should I add them back even though I am no longer wanting to be a programmer.

Typically that is considered an asset in IT (programming skill), so I would definately put it on there....unless you really want nothing to do with it anymore whatsoever. You'd be surprised how related it might be to something you're really interested in though.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help. My resume is getting alot of hits and i have two interviews already for next week! IT support/ Admin Asst and Service Desk Specialist. I am hoping for IT Support
