DHCP Snooping

Will DHCP Snooping work on a switch configured as the DHCP server, that is directly connected to DHCP client workstations, and is used as a gateway? I guess DHCP Snooping is enabled on the VLAN, and the trusted interface will be the SVI... but isn't that going to be a problem as the trusted interface IS the SVI?

    OTOH I think you configure it without a trusted interface.. since the legit DHCP traffic originates 'inside' the switch. I'm not even sure you are able to configure a SVI as trusted interface, but I might be a little off on that one.

    Hm ok. I can't even test it out to be sure because GNS3 doesn't support DHCP snooping :/
