The cbt nuggets and cisco press book has the same author. Do they both contain the same information?

Perhaps you should take a moment or two and look at the content of each. This information is easy enough to find out, you don't need others to look for you. -

Think of it this way: If the author of the video series and the book is from the same person... Is there a pretty good chance the material should, fundamentally, contain the same theories?In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.

Keith Barker in his CBT Nuggets videos does say he covers more information in the videos versus the book. -

Both are good, and personally I watch videos first then read the appropriate book(s). If you go to the cbtn site you can check the contents of each video in the series and also watch the first two minutes of each video.
