Passed 220-701
I passed the 220-701 A+ exam a few days ago, scored a 700. I'm pretty excited because I'm 15 yrs old and I'm halfway to obtaining my first widely recognized IT certification!
For anyone who's going to take the 220-701 exam, I recommend Professor Messer as your main source of study. Watch all of his videos and take notes on each one. Also work with Windows Vista & XP and you should be good. The test isn't particularly hard, so do no fret.
I'll be taking the 220-702 exam next week, wish me good luck.

Yea, I self learned watching his videos and taking notes on everything. I also read the first 100 pages of Mike Meyers book but I got lazy and stopped reading the book since it was so long.
I am taking the 220-702 exam tomorrow. Wish me good luck. -

Did you do any particular practice tests before taking the real thing?
and thanks for sharing this. I am looking to write the test soon and have been watching a lot of Professor Messer's vids as well. Nice to know I'm on the right track -

I did a few of Professor Messer's daily quizzes.
I did the 30 question Practice Test on CompTIA's website.
I did Sybex's free IOS CompTIA A+ 220-701 practice tests.
Aside from that, taking good notes and actually studying them is the best way to prepare. The test isn't very hard and I think that I over-studied as there was a lot that I didn't have to remember from the Exam Objectives.
