I got a lot i wanna say so hear me out.

First off I have been studying this **** for about 1 year. I have 2, 2503 routers at my house and I work in a Network Control Center. I am flabbergasted that I failed this **** ass test. I think this test was based off the survey I was given prior to the exam. I answered the following to all the questions "Have a thorogh knowledge of the topic, but sometimes I ask others for assisance" It may have been worded a little different from that, but it is similar to what I wrote here.

So the test its self was a ****. It was 55 questions and I would say out of those 55, 40-45 were all diagram pictures asking a question about why it wont work. I had one OSPF sim.

Im pretty pissed I failed. Do you think the exam is based off your survey questionaire? Man I will be pissed if it is

I saw that question asked in another post, but I cant recall what else was posted and where it is.

Youve been studying for a year, but what materials and methods did you use? How many study hours?

I took the two test route, and neither survey seemed to have any impact on either test. The subjects I reported weaker knowledge of didnt even appear on the tests.

With such a low score, the reason for your failure is probably your grasp on the material. Change your attitude towards the test, and spend some more time studying the nuts and bolts.

    It may be a **** test,but 550 was surely a **** score icon_smile.gif
Yes i think your correct the test is judged from your survey, so next time answer all the survey questions saying you know everything and dont bother with the test.

Personally, I think it's "****" to assume that the test difficulty level is based off the survey you take before the test.

I failed my CCDA test the first time I took it. Why? Not because of my answers on the survey, but because I didn't have a good grasp of the Cisco definitions of techical constraints/technical goals/business goals/business constraints. I studied another week and took the test again and passed it with a score in the 900s.

Don't assume because you have prior experience in the field that you will have no problem with any Cisco test. I've seen beginners with no Cisco experience pass the CCNA with outstanding scores, and have seen people with plenty of experience fail it on the first try.

Study your shortcomings from this test and take it again. I can almost guarantee the test will change from being "****" to "straight".
