CCENT Subnet questionf from Lammle book

Hello, I've finally made my way to studying subnetting. I came across this question in Lammle's CCENT book (p. 137) but I'm not understanding it:
What subnet and broadcast address is the IP address 172.16.50.10 255.255.224.0 (/19) a member of?
The book says: Answer:256-224=0, 32,64. The subnet is 172.16.32.0, and the broadcast must be 172.16.63.25 since 64.0 is the next subnet.
My question is why is the broadcast adddress 63.25 instead of 63.255? Im confused.

It is 63.255 for the broadcast.

Thanks hondabuff. I did check the errata sheet online but it only listed one issue. Thank you for your help, I know Im not going insane.
