Another SCCM Qu
One week to go and my SOE deployment looks to be on track, minus all the scope changes and new agenda items that happen to show up daily. Quick question for anyone who's been there, done that:
My Win7 OSD task sequence with USMT runs without issue on XP PCs. It stores the user state locally, wipes C: and installs Win7. It then restores the user state intact (expect mapped drives, but I don't care). When I run this same task sequence on a Windows 7 PC, it crashes during deployment and leaves me with a PC sans OS.
I was kinda expecting USMT to be indifferent to the OS concerning XP and 7. My task sequence is no frills and I can't see what needs to be tweaked for it to run on Win7. Google's not brought up anything yet. Ideas for direction? Cheers.
