SQL express installs a lot faster and easier than 2008

Maybe the experience of going through it the first time with 08 helped but it seems to be packaged better and install a lot faster.

Is this the same on the enterprised version or developer?

I hate to ask 101 questions but I was wondering if the practice files were available for 2012 like 2008? So far I am unable to find them through Google etc.
