A CCNA with 0 years of networking experience, job prospects in NYC?

Or anywhere for that matter. I don't have my CCNA but have 2 years of Help Desk under my belt and was wondering how possible would it be to get an entry level networking job in NYC, the greatest city of all icon_cool.gif

You have a pretty good chance at landing something like a NOC job or similar support position. The key will be to write a good resume and wow them in the interview.

I've seen a few craigslist job ads for NOC positions in the North NJ and NYC areas. There was even a "Junior Network Admin/Entry level" job ad up.

I think once you get your CCNA, you should be fine. And at that point, recruiters might even find YOU instead of the opposite way around.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed

We have an opening in MD if you're willing to relocate. Going for an interview would be a pain though since there are 3 personal interviews.
If at first you do succeed, try something harder.

I can't seem to get my PMs working (Probably not enough posts or something along those lines). I'd like to talk to you about the positions. Mind if I shoot you an email?

Right next to the airport. I actually applied to a NOC job in Hanover a couple of days ago, might be it.
