Linux+ Renewal

Hi All,

I am really interested in pursuing Linux+ after my CCNA studies. I have one question though if I pass the Linux+ does it automatically renew my Security+ CE cert? Thanks

You would have to check CompTIA web site. I believe the only way to renew the Security+ is retaking it or going for the CASP.

What do you mean by renew? I have the so-called lifetime Sec+ and wasn't forced to renew, but am being forced to accumulate enough CEUs.

No, the only CompTIA certs thta will renew Sec+ are CASP and Storage+.

Can you expand on this? I currently have the lifetime cert and now I'll have to get CEUs to keep the cert?
