I think this will greatly benefit someone looking to avoid disaster due to stupid computers.

Anyone have information on the subject matter?

As far as I know CompTIA offers the following certifications.

    A+ - Entry-Level Computer Service
    CTT+ - Certified Trainer
Network+ - Network Support and Administration
CDIA+ - Document Imaging and Management
    Server+ - Server Hardware Technology
i-Net+ - Internet and Online Technologies
Security+ - Computer and Information Security
    Linux+ - Linux Operating Systems
    HTI+ - Home Technology Integration
    Project+ - Project Management
    e-Biz+ - e-Commerce

    Never heard of Y2K+.

    Haha, i was just kidding.

Every time I take an A+ practice exam I always laugh when I see responses that involve "Y2K issues".

Figured it might be funny if there were a cert on that.

That is a good reason that Comptia should make their own practice tests. When other companies provide study materials some are current and good and some are not. I saw that there is now Comptia Press book so maybe they are working on it?
