Good luck man! :D It's actually not that difficult... It's very easy, you just need to be careful with the syntax of the questions, that's where i got caught, but the labs are easy as hell... I don't think u will spend more than like 3-4 min on each lab :)

Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for.

Congratulations. BTW a pass is pass no matter what the score! :)

If I may ask, what was your study material and time frame?

Really? simulation questions on the exam are easy? I'm taking it soon and that's good.

Congratulations. You cut it close, but it's a pass.

As a wise man once told me, "You get a touchdown for crossing the goal line, it doesn't matter how far past the line you go."

I saw your score and the Megadeth song played in my head "by the skin 'o my teeth" lol

Congrats, so what do you think caused you the most problems? Wording or?
    Modularity and Design Simplicity:

Think of the 2:00 a.m. test—if you were awakened in the
middle of the night because of a network problem and had to figure out the
traffic flows in your network while you were half asleep, could you do it?

    Thanks! :D

Well, as far as material goes I read the Tod Lammle (not sure how to spell his surname :P ) CCNA exam prep, then read the CCNA exam prep from Jeremy Cioara, CBT Nuggets CCNA videos, INE CCNA bootcamp videos and 4 books from cisco press, the same that are used in the academy.

Well, the cisco press books are great! But they have A LOOOOOT of details! And I believe some of those details aren't necessairy but, as they say.. "It's better to know and not need it, than not to know and need it" so, gather as much as possible! And your BEST FRIEND for your preparation is right here! Use this forum as much as you can, ask questions, people here are very kind and helpful no matter how trivial and stupid the question might be :D trust me, i had some stupid questions and got answers :D

I would suggest you watching the CBT Nuggets videos. Braindumps are cool and helpful but keep away from them as much as you can. It's not the point to know the questions and answer them, it's to see the questions and answer them based on your understanding of the concept.

I am self thought so if you can go to a cisco academy you'll benefit from it, but I don't see a reason for paying 5.000 euros for something you can do on your own, especially with the internet around.

And as far as the framing goes, it took me like 4 to 5 months of like 4-5 hours of study a day. But then I failed for my stupidity and lost the 1st exam for 24 points, where the pass was 825 I had 801, then I spent another month just to make a refresh, and with the 2nd attempt I passed. I think, since English is not my native language, i had some difficulties with grasping the context of the questions, and I didn't took the extra 30 min for english non native speakers. I'm from poland, if you might wonder :P

I went straight for the CCNA, I didn't want to do the ICND approach. And if I did the time frame would change for sure but overall it takes like 4-5 months or even less to get the CCNA, if you really tight ur buttocks and devote whole days icon_lol.gif :P

So good luck on studying! And update me on ur progress :)

Yes, it's easy! Just prepare yourself for EIGRP (mainly the problems are AS number mismatch), ACL FOR SURE! and NAT. But don't take my word for it, be prepared for surprises! The 2 times I've sat for the exam I had same concept examination in LABS, EIGRP and ACL.

And be sure to know how to read the outputs from Show commands! since 85% of the questions with reference to images were Show outputs.

Good Luck with the exam!! Don't worry at all! Just be comfident and don't think too much on the questions. Cause CCNA is kind messed up. Cause if you know a little too much, many of those questions will mislead you, since you can see more apropriate answears that are asked to choose.
That's the trick with CCNA, if u know less it's a problem.. If you know way too much it's a problem as well :P hehe
Learning to pass the exam and implementing those things in real life, sometimes may be totally different stories :P

Yes :D The problem I believe was the wording, mostly it's simple, plain english.. but sometimes you read the whole sentence and you miss the whole point and you automatically assume from the words seen that u know what is being asked. And English is not my primary language icon_sad.gif
