My lengthy journey to CCIE...

I just passed TSHOOT a couple days ago and became a CCNP, and already want to start CCIE prepping. I promised my fiancee two months of down time and snuggling so it will be June before I begin this glorious journey. I'd like to be CCIE by 30, but keep a family life as well, so I have two years to get this done.

I purchased the CCIE Routing and Switching Certification Guide 4th edition for a little lunch hour reading at work while I wait for June to come.

I haven't really explored the different texts for CCIE just yet, but will once I actively start studying.

Didnt know you had done the CCNP mate, well done!! A little bit of studying here and there wouldnt hurt icon_wink.gif This'll warm the engine up come June and you can rev it up from there. I have no advice for obvious reasons, but I wish you well and from what I've read on here, this can be an arduous trek. But it looks like you're in good shape to handle it. Good luck!
