aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□The first time I took it I had only had read the green MS Press book, I joined the Early Experts group and when through it all, and only failed the second time by a question or two in the 411 part of the test. So I went out and re-read the chapters that dealt with that and did the exercises from the Early Experts. This time I did not second guess myself as much and passed.Aaron

aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□I would like to take 413 next, I also need to work on the SQL 2012 upgrade and take 457. It will mostly depend on what materials I find to use next. I will most likely take 413 to keep the Windows momentum going.Aaron

hanakuin Member Posts: 144Grats on the pass. I've completed Server 2012 MCSA today, and am moving onto 70-413. I've already scheduled the test in two weeks. I'm glad there is a book for this one which I've downloaded to my Kindle. What type of lab setups are you doing for your prep on 413? I built 2 32GB Hyper-V hosts and threw in a couple switches and a router for my labs. I have right over $2k in this setup but I'll be able to use it for quite some time. I don't work in a IT department per-say but am a consultant so my daily work life sometimes plays out like a Microsoft test so when I get re-certified I'm able to use real-world experience with some intense studying and knock out exams quickly.
