VCP-DV is dead.

Looks like VMware changed the name of their marque cert again. VCP-DV is now VCP-DCV. Interestingly, my VMware transcript still says I'm a VCP.

Yea things have been changing since I started getting interested in this stuff.

I just want to confirm that the VCP-DCV is the base certification that aligns with 5.1 ICM course correct?

It's actually 5.x which means things common with 5.0 & 5.1 are included.

As of this writing, they haven't changed all the graphics on the VCP-DCV page yet, some of it still says VCP-DV. Easier to change the text than it is updating graphics and buttons, I guess. icon_lol.gif

Not saying this will happen, but almost feels like when they keep changing the time and night a TV show comes on, really hurts if not kills the show.

Its hard enough to get HR managers to recognize a cert by name, seems like this can only be bad for "brand recognition"

Which is why I haven't bothered changing my CV yet ... Still says VCP5 :)
