Hi,
I am looking to expand my knowledge on networking. At this point I am not planning on getting certified since my primary job responsibility is in infosec/forensics, not network admin. Therefore I do not want to write the re-certification exam every 3-4 years.
For my purpose, will a old study guide (previous edition) be suffice (trying to save some $$$)? Any significant changes between current and previous edition? The book I am looking at is the Sybex study guide by Todd Lammle.
