Worth it to pick up a J2320
I am finishing my CCNA and CCNA Security and was contemplation to go for the JCINA and possible the JCINS-ENT. I have the opportunity to pick up a J2320 with 1GB Flash/RAM and a Dual T1 card for $240, I know they are well worth more but do you think one would be OK for those exams? I really don't want to put too much money into it but I see how many issues people run into with the Olives and really don't want the headache What do you Juniper Guru's think? Will that one get me familiar with the differences between the Juniper and Cisco hardware for some hands on and be able to use it to study those two exams?
Cheers

teren Member Posts: 30 ■■□□□□□□□□That's not a bad price, but I'd keep your eyes out for a SRX100 or SRX210. Overall, that's not a terrible price at all, I just personally like the SRX platform better than the J's. At the end of the day, a J series or SRX100/210 will definitely get your feet wet and give you some solid Junos experience. Hope that helps

ajmatson Member Posts: 289Thx for the heads up. I built an Olive right now with GNS3, I guess that will suffice for now and I will just put those funds to getting a SRX later down the road as I play the security track anyway
Thanks againWorking on currently:

Aldur Member Posts: 1,460I'd pick up the J2320, AFAIK you can do anything with a j2320 that you can do with the branch SRX."Bribe is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. The X makes it sound cool."

ajmatson Member Posts: 289Thanks Aldur, do you think the Olive would provide the basics for the JCNIA? I love the hardware and I am a Lab Junkie but I don't want to spend the money if it is not neededWorking on currently:
