job description:The IT Support Associate provides support to end users of computers and laptops running Microsoft Windows OS within --. Assists in projects related to telecom, network and infrastructure configurations. Must have a good understanding of networking, software, printer configuration and PC/LAN troubleshooting skills. Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, printers and other network devices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Microsoft, Cisco or other leading technology certifications. (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA)
- Excellent customer service skills; demonstrates concern and respect for others in all interactions, and inspires confidence and trust.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- 1-3 years experience supporting end users in a Microsoft Active Directory environment.
- Experience supporting various Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows XP, and Windows 7) in local and remote locations.
- Experience installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting various printer models.
- Proficient installing, configuring and providing end user support for various Microsoft products including but not limited to Excel, Word, Project and Outlook
