Do you need lab or Simulator for Network+
beach5563
I have Packet Tracer but I was wondering if I really need to work on hands on stuff for this exam. I was going for CCENT but I may do Network+ first to get a better foundation. Been in I.T. since 1999 doing everything from Nortel Telecom programming to some help desk/Tech Support Monitoring roles. Thanks guys:)

Nah you definitely don't need a home lab for N+. Honestly many people get even their CCNPs without having a home lab and only use GNS3. Its all about personal preference. Me? I love to have my own home lab

all you need to do is use your cmd prompt and ping your router. not much more after that.

You don't need a simulator, but I'd suggest you be familiar with configuring the settings on a wireless router.
