First tech support interview help!!

hello everyone,

I am going for my first proper IT 1st line support interview on friday. and I have to do a technical assessment, i was just wondering if anyone could help me in terms of what to expect?

If there are technical specific requirements in the job posting I would expect to be tested on that. Otherwise- General Break/Fix Windows/Network TS stuff.

Be yourself. Don't try to psych yourself out over this. Take a deep breath. Is the technical assessment verbal or written? Sometimes verbal is a bit easier. Can you post the job description? Might help others give you some insights into what kind of questions you may get.

The assessments are usually really easy.
What does ping do?
How to boot to safe mode?
What port does html use?
et cetera

At least thats how mine was.
