Default Office 365 Login

jibbajabbajibbajabba Member Posts: 4,317 ■■■■■■■■□□
I had Exchange hosting with Microsoft but deleted all accounts. Of course now I want to re-use it (still runs for a few months) but I cannot remember the login. I can remember the username, but not the automatically generated mail address after the "@" ...

Googled to no avail.

Anyone got an account and just give me the domain suffix for admin email accounts ?

    I think you misunderstood :)

I know the URL but when you sign up - it generates an admin account with a microsoft email, which is different to your actual domain you use to create email accounts .. your first admin account basically.

For the password reset you also need that account (username basically).

I know my "username" created, but not the automatically generated mail prefix after the "@" sign ..

    Hope that makes sense

    It should be username@DOMAIN.onmicrosoft.com.

If you deleted the accounts, you will have to contact Office 365 support to get them to restore the account. I am not sure if you can delete the first account created, but all of my O365 clients are using SSO with federated accounts, so it's different for them.
