Career Goals

Hey everyone I just signed up on this site a few days ago. What a great site, wish I had found it sooner. There is a wealth of knowledge and info on here that will be so helpful to me. I have been computer tech for 7 years and have done desktop support, pc install/maintenance. basic network workgroup installs and fixed about every kind of printer in house and onsite. Well I recently graduated with a degree in electrical and computer engineering, and want to start back up in the I.T. Career field. My goal is to one day become a network security specialist. What steps do I need to take to obtain this goal, and what type of job should I apply for to work toward this goal. Thank for all your help sorry it is so long just wanted to give you an idea of where I am coming from.
