Not as pissed as last time, but it still sucks.
This time my test was a lot easier for some reason. I know it isnt supposed to matter, but my last exam i answered the survey truthful. This time I said I didnt know anything about any topic. My test seemed a lot easier. It was primarily focused around switching I noticed.
I had a sim to configure a new switch into an existing lan.
I thought the command to add an ip on a switch was the same as on a router. I typed what I know, but it didnt work. I really think if I passwd the sim i would have passed this test.
I am trying again in 2 weeks.

You shouldnt discuss what your sims on the test were, but...
You assign the IP address and gateway to a switch on the native VLAN (VLAN0)

Sorry about that.
Ya I checked all my books when I got home and sure enough, there it was.

Dont let it get you down, a lot of people miss CCNA first or second attempt. I failed my first attempt.
It should give you a breakdown of your area's of weakness so that will give you something to concentrate on for next time
Its also intresting to see you mentioned a switch sim, there was a time when it was unheard of to get switch sims, now it seems to be a regular thing!
