OK, so here's my story. I have been in IT 14+ years; the last 10.5 with a really great law enforcement task force, but the time has come to move on.
I have been a jack-of-all-trades, but more and more my passion is on the networking side of things and I find myself wanting less to do with the sys admin tasks.
I am currently in Arizona and looking exclusively to move back home to the Denver, Colorado area as part of this job hunt. I am not looking for relocation assistance, but obviously wouldn't turn it down if it were offered.
With all of this in mind, I'd like feedback on my resume; I figure it needs to be as strong possible especially given the relocation. The fact that I haven't gone through a serious job search in over a decade also makes me a little wary.
I can say the one area I am not thrilled with is all the white-space around my education, but I like the idea of having a Denver area school on there (the community college). I don't know if the GPA/honors thing is too much for someone who has been out of school for a while, but it does help fill what would otherwise be a big blank area.
I don't have dates listed for my education because the ink is still drying on my WGU diploma and my AS is almost 20 years old.
The phone number on this resume is a Denver number (thanks, Google Voice).
Have at it, no need to be gentle, and thanks in advance...
