Quick Question for those who are Certified

For those who when they passed the test, how did you receive your certificate? I guess what im asking is what happens once you pass the test? Do you have to notify Microsoft? Or they get notified by the test center and you just have to wait for your cert in the mail?

You get a notification to create an account on the MCP site.

From there you can order certificates or print them. The cost is around 10 bucks for up to 6 certificates I think.

Also the test center results are passed on to MS automagically so there is nothing you have to do on your part for MS to know.

The information takes usually 48-72 hours to hit Microsoft. Once it has, an automated email will be sent out with the next steps for your MCP account. If you have not received your email after 5 business days, I would check the Prometric site to ensure the exam is shown as a pass and the information is correct on your profile. If it is, contact Microsoft.
