Resume Critique Please

Any criticisms/comments/compliments would be great.

I'm considering adding watermarks to my certifications at the bottom of the resume, but think this might be a little too tacky.

Any ideas for lines, separating or general design would be greatly appreciated, I'm not an amazing graphical/document designer.

Also, the top part up to Professional Experience was what I just spend time working on, and can't think of a way to match that with the work experience. I think it looks fine as it is, but it doesn't jump out to me as much as I want it to.. again suggestions?

First of all, if that is your real info on those images, pull it offline, sanitize it, and then post back...

I am not a big fan of logos on a resume; so I wouldn't use them, but I know plenty of people do. Here, I think it would look like you were trying to fill the page to make it two full pages.

I would add a little padding between the vertical line and the text on the Certification side so the text and line don't run together so much. Too much white-space is bad, but it serves a very important purpose and a little more is needed here. You might also look at the judicious use of italics in the Education & Certification area to break it up a little. Right now there are big blocks of text and the space is a little tight so indents or extra lines may not work.

Consider placing the location of each job at the same indent level as the bullets, it gets lost right now. Also, consider a half line extra white-space between the location/title line and the bullet list; it seems a little crowded.

The dates on your Early Girl Eatery don't make sense. You initially worked there until August 2009, yet started again in June of the same year? Assuming you have this on there to show management/leadership and want to keep it I would drop the last line about it being a second job for extra income. You don't have any other job listed for 2008 so there is no need to explain an overlap.

The only thing I want to say is that the letter spacing in the font you've used is kinda odd, it makes a lot of words look like they're running together. For example the major in part of your Bachelors.

First, remove that you were a sous chef.
Secondly, proper spelling is a MUST. You misspelled 'governors'.
Third, I would get rid of your home and office numbers and put a proper email address. Even a well thought out Gmail account works.
Fourth, I would spell out the Microsoft certs. There is some confusion going around with MCSA on the desktop side.
Fifth, Theres no need for your high school diploma.
Sixth, No need to write general education core. If it was an AA in psychology, just write that.
Seventh, I would write it properly as "Bachelor of Science - Information Technology" and "Software Development concentration" underneath.

The company I work for is a big Microsoft Shop, we had a Partners re certification push and I was asked to pursue a few of those. I have been studying them for a while, along with a lot of application of the technology. My company pays for our professional development, so as long as I studied on my own time, they would compensate for the travel and the test.

We also recently became Apple Consultants and needed to have an Apple certified candidate, I was asked to do this, those tests are dreadfully easy if you're knowledgeable about Apple computers, especially the two ACA certs.

How did you study for your Microsoft exams? I am currently studying for the 70-680 and it seems very hard. I study at work at least 4 hours a day and I am amazed anyone could pass this test so easily and quickly.

Constant use of Windows 7, I failed the 70-680 the first time with a 680, passed 2nd time with a 790. I used this book MCTS Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration Study Guide, Study Guide: Exam 70-680: William Panek: 9780470948453: Amazon.com: Books and CBT nuggets.

I used the Sybex books also the CBT nuggets for must of my tests.

Also, there was a raise at hand for the 70-680, so I was very inspired
