Took a gamble on an auction
Just bought 2 Poweredge 1750's off gsaauction.gov for $80. There wasn't any info about the specs or configuration, so we'll see what I pick up tomorrow. Hoping to run a home lab with some VM's on them.

throw in a few ssd's and have the time of your life. -
Essendon Member Posts: 4,546 ■■■■■■■■■■buzzkill is right, this model cannot run 64 bit guests, 32 bit only. It also sucks power like there's no tomorrow, from what someone once told me. Instead, you should have coughed up a bit more cash and a used HP DL 380 G5 would have been great. Always research before you buy.

z3r0cool Member Posts: 49 ■■□□□□□□□□Just picked it up, they messed the listing up, it was for (1) 2650, no drives, 2GB ram, (1) 2.8Ghz proc. I have some old SCSI drives I can thrown in it and see what I can get for it.
