What IOS should I download and install for this Cisco 2511? Thanks for the help.

    So it looks like the IOS is old, I just bought an rj45 to db15 also 16MB ram, is it possible to upgrade flash?

    I would look up the model with Cisco Systems, Inc. That will give you everything you need to know.

    I'm not trying to be sarcastic. :) Seriously, everything you could possibly want to know about the model can be found on the web site.

    You are right, I was looking there but was confused about having only an 8MB flash card, so I had a 2509 laying around and borred it's flash. I could not figure out how to make one single parition, I looked more online and bought a single 16MB card, which said it was for a 36xx series router, but is 80simm so hopefully it works. There is no IOS on Cisco's website that supports only 8MB, or if so they are deferred. I did learn something though since I had never run into a Cisco Device that did not use CF as the main flash storage.
