kyle.tk Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□the DCE/DTE cables go between the ports labeled 'Serial' on the routers. I know the 2503's have 2 serial interfaces each. Look here for info on how to hook them up:

kyle.tk Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□for what you have 3 would work. I got four 1ft cables off ebay for about $25.
for the dce thing, one end is the DCE and the other is the DTE. On the router that is the DTE end you must configure the clockrate for the link.

Ok im looking at two different kinds of cables now... in the diagram the dte and dce are two seperate cables. On ebay i see a 3ft high-density dce/dte db60 crossover cable. This is only one cable..so do i get this one.. or do i get the two seperate as illustrated in the diagram.Switches are bridges on steroids! -

johnnynodough Member Posts: 634Also, what are the serial connections on the 3640? I you have a WIC-2T you will need a smart serial cable to DB60 to connect to your 2503.Go Hawks - 7 and 2
