Thanks. I'm so slow you will prob be on your 2nd CCIE before I get my 1st. Your doing what I tell people to do now. Get as much done before the wife, kids, boyfriends, and starting businesses. Your time just seems to evaporate as you get older.

Keep going. Quite some guys attempted at RTP. We all got that notorious new lab and failed. In fact, I haven't heard anyone worldwide who passed it on the 1st time.

Will VOICE guys be grandfathered into the Collaboration cert, or is it going the way of dialup?

There is a migration path from CCIE Voice to CCIE Collaboration that requires a little bit of effort (written exam). A TE member and INE had blogged about the transition a while back.
