Hi guys,

I have been watching you all pass with flying colours so now it's my turn.

exams booked for....


Icnd 1 - 15th

Icnd 2 - 21st

work has been crazy so it's a big ask to pass them both so quickly but I am up for the challenge.

    Wow that was an experience.

    As soon as the exam started i was thrown by 1 question and even subnetting a /30 address became a challenge!!!!

    Managed to calm myself down and scored 950/1000.

    Methods used.....

    CBT nuggets (Old Ones)
    Chris Bryant Videos $44 package,
    VCE a few days before the test.

    No books as i hate reading icon_sad.gif

    ICND 2 in 5 days!

    UPDATE,

    Just passed ICND 2 with 874/1000 - Little disapointed i couldnt hit 900 + but i am happy with the pass.
    I was on quite a tight schedule so i am happy its over. Also it looks like my local testing centres are booked for a fair while!!!

    Onto CCNA Wireless :)

    Wow well done! Can't believe you passed without books, the CBT nuggets did nothing for me except enforce the basics. Do you have good prior networking knowledge? Also whats a vce?

    Congrats again! Wireless is awesome! Don't get discouraged if you don't like the CCNA Wireless, the real cool stuff comes after that. Like many people claim the CCNA:W can be disappointing.

    I do already work in Telecoms so am very familar with the equipment and how it works just never gone down to the fundimentals level. Maybe if i didnt have the prior experience i wouldnt have been able to without the books.
    I have definatly listened to everyones advise though and just looked for the CCNA:W 722 book but its not out until Oct 2013 icon_cry.gif

    I used Chris Bryant / Nuggets, **** study pages and example questions + VCE **** just before the exam.

    I also find the **** are a great way to practice how the questions are pitched and what type of answer they are looking for. Cisco questions can be tricky sometimes.
