WGU BS:IT Progress - April 1st Start - Programming Question

ToomsTooms Member Posts: 36 ■■□□□□□□□□
This is where I am at so far. I started April 1st (paid out of pocket and took a few tests before the start date) and want to try and finish the remaining classes by September. Does anyone have any advice on the order to take whats left? I'm specifically wondering about DFV1, KFT1, KET1, and DJV1. Think finishing these by Sept 2013 is doable?

My programming ability is only with Flash, VB 6.0, VBScript, and SQL Queries.

I just took DFV1 today and it was a difficult exam. I am not interested in programming but I did manage to learn enough to pass.

DJV1 was pretty easy. DFV1 was a bit more work, as you're doing a lot of server-side programming, and if that's new to you, there could be a learning curve. Overall, I thought the test was actually pretty easy for both of those. I did the reading, and I did the practice tests like crazy, and I got through pretty easily.

KET1 was really easy, but I've done a lot of Java programming, so the projects were really easy. KFT1 is a lot of work, and you could have trouble with it.

The good news is both of these courses are being reworked, and I expect you probably will be taking the new classes instead.
