trunking question
gojericho0
Does anyone know if there is an IOS available to allow trucking with dotq encapsulation on a 10Mbps ethernet port for a 2610 router?
Does a 2912XL switch have all the features necessary when practicing for the CCNA exams?
Thanks!

as for the 2912XL I dont know if it supports trunking or not. The early models of the 2900 series only had 4mb on board and didnt support trunking. Laster they were upgraded to 8mb and these models do suport trunking, so check that yours is 8mb running and enteripse image.

Thanks a lot. What did you use to search the Cisco site to find that information. I was looking all over the place under IOS and the discontinued routers.
Also is there a link that explains the differences between some of the model abbreviations like XM or XL?
