Decided I better upgrade my 2003 MCSE before it was too late.
Wrote this exam today and passed with an 812 on the 640 exam and an 866 on the 642 exam.
I prepped for this exam for about a month and found it to be not that difficult
I also get to apply my knowledge at work everyday so that helped a lot!
I signed up for the 2nd shot voucher before taking this one, and I was very nervous this morning when I went to go write the test. I mostly used TechNet articles & Wikipedia for what was listed in the "skills measured" section on the 640 and 642 pages
The exam was nothing like I remember my 2003 tests being like. The questions only had a couple sentences instead of the multi paragraph wall of text questions from the 2k3 tests.
Next up is 70-659 - Windows Server 2008 R2, Server Virtualization
this exam counts towards the MS Partner program at work, however, it expires July 31st :S so I have to get this one done soon.
After the 70-659 exam I plan to do 646 to complete my 2008 track so I can upgrade to 2012
