Do us all a favor and delete your post then, CCNA should be earned respectibaly. I am surprised that Routersim is sinking that low, but none the less, delete your post, cheaters piss me off.

why's dat cheating? if it is.. then the boson practice problems dat come with the wendell odom books r cheating as well then, cuz they are so similar to the exam itself
johnnynodough
There is a difference between similar and exactly the same. Changing the name of companies, cities, of hostnames is basically exactly the same, variance in configuration makes it similiar but legitamate. I went through the CIsco Press prcatice tests and saying they were similar is a stretch.

how do u delete poste?
and.. umm, why do u think im cheatin?

Im not saying your cheating (aiding to, yes, but specifcally calling you a cheater, no), what I am getting at is that if you come accross any test sims that are identical to the actual tests, dont post them here, because this site is very much against that sort of activity. The all mighty Webmaster has developed a site here that focuses more on the knowledge gained working towards the cert, rather than just getting the cert. Any monkey can get a CCNA, all you need is some **** tests and braindumps, but then your cert means nothing and just proliferates the uselessness of certs that people worked hard for, myself included. I find it interesting that this being one of the very few sites that doesnt tolerate braindumps and lame test sims is also one of the very few sites that has a very knowledgable user community. Check out some other tech forums (no names included), there mods (if they even have any) dont delete **** posts, and the user community is about as knowledgable as a brick. YOu ask a question and you get no answer, at least not a tangible one, maybe just some flaming like you were in an AOL chatroom.
And to delete posts you just click edit in the upper right hand corner of the post window in the thread.
Dont mean to jump on you really, just letting you know what the community here is about.

Which practice exam or ccna isnt similar in a question or two?
If the world wasnt round then we would have fell off..
johnnynodough
similar is one thing like I said, the same is another. FOr example if i see these questions.
SUperDuper test sim
Configure router Super with ip address 1.1.1.1/24 on the E0 interface. COmfigure S1 with 2.2.2.2/24. Enable rip as the routing protocol for both interfaces. Establish a serial link using PPP router Duper, connecting to S1 on Duper. Configure Duper with S1 ip address 2.2.2.1/24 and E0 with IP 2.2.3.1. Enable rip on both interfaces.
The CIsco Exam
Configure router A with ip address 10.1.1.1/24 on the E0 interface. COmfigure S1 with 20.20.20.2/24. Enable rip as the routing protocol for both interfaces. Establish a serial link using PPP router B, connecting to S1 on Duper. Configure Duper with S1 ip address 20.20.20.1/24 and E0 with IP 20.20.30.1. Enable rip on both interfaces.
That would be a case where I would like to kick everyone of SuperDuper test Sim in the junk, because they are worthless pieces of $hit. All they do is change names and numbers, the configuartion is identical. Yea, my certs are becoming more worthless with each sale they make.
Similar but fair would be -
SuperDuper SIM
Configure router Super with ip address 2.2.2.1/24 on the E0 interface. COmfigure S1 with 2.2.3.2/24. Enable OSPF as the routing protocol for only the serial interface. Establish a serial link using PPP router Duper, connecting to S1 on Duper. Configure Duper with S1 ip address 2.2.3.1/24 and E0 with IP 2.2.4.1/24. Enable OPSF on both interfaces.
THe Cisco Exam
Configure router A with ip address 20.20.20.1/24 on the E0 interface. COmfigure S1 with 20.20.30.2/24. Enable rip as the routing protocol for both interfaces. Establish a serial link using PPP router B, connecting to S1 on Duper. Configure Duper with S1 ip address 20.20.30.1/24 and E0 with IP 20.20.40.1. Enable rip on both interfaces.
The configurations are rather similar, they change numbers, router names, but most importantly they change the routing protocol, which is configured differently, and the change some of the requirements. That isnt a blatent copy.

johnnynodough
Hmmm, colts over Hawks, hmmmmmm. No
Time will tell though, I just hope our DC Mr Rhodes gets well so he can hit the road with the team, our defensive and offensive lines definetely need some work
