Postponing exams at the end of September

Cisco/Pearson have allowed postponing exams in case you are unable or unready come the exam date. Does anybody know how this will work in October? If I book an exam in late September and have to put it back, will they allow me to do that taking into account the syllabus will change then?

I've never been that close to the retirement date on any of mine, but I would want to hear it from Pearson or Cisco to be sure. You can contact the certification support team for a solid answer:

On another note, which exam are you studying for? You've still got several months to study. I say buckle down and plan on not rescheduling.

According to Cisco's website, the last day to take the current exam is Sept 30th. Starting Oct 1, only the new exams (ICND1, ICND2, & CCNA) will be available.
