Type 4 OSPF LSA

Is Type 4 OSPF LSA propagated to all routers or only ABR routers?
I understand that it is used for routers to identify ASBR.
Is it propagated in stub area, totally stubby area, nssa and totally nssa?

I have researched on OSPF areas but little emphasis was put on Type 4 LSA.
