Corrupt Microsoft Office Documents - suitable third-party repair tools

Hi,

Can anyone recommend either an MS product or a third-party product to repair corrupt word and powerpoint documents that have been corrupted and the built-in repair tools don't work

Any ideas appreciated.

I believe office auto saves their own backups. You can always try searching for the ~ symbol and see what it pops up.

If they are docx or xlsx formats extract them with zip program of some flavor like 7zip. Open the newly extracted folder, go to the word folder on a docx file for example, and the document.xml file will have the entire document in xml.

Initially, stop feeling annoyed!!! Because here is a suitable third party tool Remo Repair software that can easily fix corrupt MS Word and PowerPoint documents.
