Bodhisattwa Pal Member Posts: 6 ■□□□□□□□□□The cisco website says as such:
- Once passed, a candidate must wait a minimum of 180 days before taking the same exam with an identical exam number.

- Candidates who fail an exam must wait a period of five (5) calendar days, beginning the day after the failed attempt, before they may retest for the same exam.

MiikeB Member Posts: 301I think in the past, or maybe its a different company policy, that if you fail a second time there is a long wait. The policy does not seem to exist at this time though.Graduated - WGU BS IT December 2011

NetworkVeteran Member Posts: 2,338 ■■■■■■■■□□I go way back with Cisco. I don't believe there's ever been a months-long wait upon fail for the CCNA or CCNP.

Ivanjam Member Posts: 978 ■■■■□□□□□□@MiikeB - as both you and NetworkVeteran said, it's not a Cisco policy, it's the policy of that other company that shall remain nameless: Nameless Company that is Tiny and Squishy (found under the Security Policies tab).Fall 2014: Start MA in Mathematics [X]
Fall 2016: Start PhD in Mathematics [X]
